I'm back from Georgia! The wedding was nice. Ultra-Christian (for example, the bride and groom did not exchange rings, but Bibles, and there was no dancing at the reception because it's sinful). So, of course, my uncles, aunts, and I were singled out for being the ones to sneak booze and imported wines (thank you, Aunt Debbie) into the hotel every night and did the electric slide in the far back corner of the reception hall.

Overall, the wedding was great, the reception was meh, I saw a water tower shaped like a giant ass (okay, it was a peach, but seriously now, it looked like a massive ass), one of the Comfort Inns had sex beds (defined by large quantities of unexplained stains on the sheets) while the other one was brand new, and I learned that people in Georgia pronounce 'van' and 'chair' with three syllables. All good times.

SO! I'll start posting again tomorrow - threads I need to hop into, conversations I need to finish, journals to bother, and Alessa's private entry (yes, I saw~).

I apologize to everyone I'm threading with for my slowness. Between spending most of my day working and my mom and brother recently getting back from Canada and wanting to do stuff together, I haven't had much time to myself lately. Aaaaand today is my mom's birthday.

However! I have Sunday-Tuesday off, and HOPEFULLY my family doesn't have any plans, which means three days where I will have pretty much the whole day to myself to reply to people so we can get some threading done.

I'm so, so sorry you guys. I hope I'm not slowing you down too much.

I know Jazz has already sort of asked some people about this, but I just want to make sure that it won't become too much of a plot-wise disturbance in the force.

So, as Jazz' riddle demands that he bring someone he trusts to meet the sphinx at the end of the challenge, would it be ok if he took Midvalley, L and Frank to it?

One could assume that this would at least make some minor problems as L and Frank are from Asgard. For some time I was also thinking about letting Jazz ask for Christopher Carrion as well, but I think that won't work due to player's hiatus.

What do you think?

If anyone needs food for thought in a literal sense, I seem to have made an overabundance of tea sandwiches. I wrapped them up and refridgerated them, so anyone who would like any, please do! I brewed some iced tea as well, so that's in a pitcher too.

At least...

I hope someone other than me likes sandwiches.

OOC: Okay everyone, here is Morana's goodbye note, which can be read and commented on IC wise from the morning after Fancy Dress Day. Since she's still learning to write and read, there is spelling mistakes and such, and expect the handwriting to be childish and blotchy. And of course since it's written, no stutter like in her voice posts and comments.

She gave it to Metatron so it can be assumed he read it to everyone or if there's a post about it, I don't mind. Warnings: Tension and Machiavellian angst. It is the facade of the century, and L will say things he doesn't mean in frighteningly convincing ways that may cause you to never believe a word he says ever again.
Summary: L, after contacting Light and claiming that he's realized the other man has been right all along, agrees to go to Niflheim to try and convince Light in person. Light, naturally, is skeptical of the sudden change of heart, and has a "test" of some sort planned to gauge L's loyalty. This is all part of L's master plan to kill Light (which is getting to the wire, now, and will happen after the new characters are introduced), so please remember what L is trying to. ENDS. JUSTIFY. MEANS.
